Pixie is the newest addition to the Mi Family welcoming committee. She is only a few months old and is working hard at learning the ways of Jakka our head greeter. Pixie is still in training so she will likely be in our front desk area behind the gate for your safety (as she likes to get under our feet) and for hers as she is still a young pup.

Pixie is a Lhasa Apso just like Jakka. Their breed is one of the oldest domesticated breeds and are very hypoallergenic as they do not have an undercoat, and do not shed more than we do. She was born in Wisconsin at a wonderful establishment called Foxwood Kennels just south of Green Bay and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pup.

Our hopes for pixie and her role here at Mi Family is to eventually get her trained and certified as a therapy dog and this process will start after she is spayed. Feel free to stop by and say hi to pixie when ever you are in and make sure to give Jakka some attention too... he is warming up to his new sister, though a bit slower than I would have thought.
